18586 – Founding Engineer (DevOps Specialist)

A Koud está em busca de um(a) Founding Engineer (DevOps Specialist) para atuação em um de nossos clientes.

We are looking for an outstanding engineer to join our early-stage fintech as part of our founding team, as such you’ll play a pivotal role in:

• Designing our foundational system architecture;
• Deciding our modern technology stack;
• Developing our key applications;
• Launching our MVP and iterating on product roadmap;
• Forming our engineering culture, promoting best practices and long-term focus.

This is your chance to be a protagonist at work, working on challenging projects with a meaningful impact, as part of a select team of elite engineers in an uniquely ambitious new payment network company.

Required:

• 5-10 years of experience with modern, technically advance companies;
•  At least 2-3 years of experience in full-time role with DevOps/Platform Engineering;
•  Full Professional Proficiency in English;
•  3x a week in office (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at Vila Madalena in São Paulo).

Preferred: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields;
• Master/PhD degree in Computer Science or related fields;
• Experience with early-stage start-ups, specially 0 to 1 stage;
• Experience with fintech, specially payments in Brazil;
• Graduated from top schools and/or with top grades;
• Participated and/or won in competitions, received work-related awards;
• Active leader in the community, has published articles, given lectures etc;
• At least 3 years of experience in production-level software development with Go;
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture (e.g. Kafka), AWS and Infra As Code best practices, specially Pulumi, container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, ArgoCD etc.).
